As the VP of EMEA you will be responsible for leading and growing a significant part of the Veovo business. Owning and cultivating all customers in the region through the entire lifecycle from acquisition through delivery through to service and future growth. You will lead a regional team consisting of sales, account management and Project Delivery, and supported by Veovo functions in Product, Cloud Operations, Marketing, Finance and HR.


This is a Senior Leadership Role that will shape and execute the Veovo strategy in the region.

 

You will be responsible for the overall success of the region including:


  • Define and execute regional strategy
  • Profitability and Revenue
  • Regional growth and market penetration
  • Customer satisfaction and delivery execution
  • Act as senior escalation point for customers in region


As a Senior Leadership role you will create a culture / environment for our people to thrive both personally as individuals and as a team. This means:


  • Leading the region and regional staff
  • Providing mentoring and direction to the regional leadership team
  • Leading senior client engagements and escalations
  • Building and maintaining team spirit and motivation.
  • Setting standards and expectations of team member performance.
  • You will be responsible for the profit and Loss of the region


Ultimately you will be accountable for the regions sales performance that supports / delivers regional business performance. This means:


  • Defining the regional sales strategy and “Go to Market” strategy
  • Managing sales governance including bid/no bid and approving proposals
  • Supporting the sales team in responding to bids/tenders.
  • Participating in external facing presentations and senior customer engagements

  • This role has significant autonomy to make decisions within the region while working within the Veovo Delegation of Authority framework.

 

What you need to be successful:

 

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in building and growing customer relationships at a senior level
  • Accountable for £m P+L
  • Team leadership of a senior staff and keen to develop staff of all levels to excel
  • Working in a Software Product Environment
  • Airport / Aviation domain advantageous
  • Experience of all aspects of Customer lifecycle from winning, delivering and supporting advantageous
